Western Photogrammetrics is a division of McIntosh & Associates and has been serving the western United States since the early 1950's. With a professional photogrammetry staff and surveying staff, Western Photogrammetrics provides aerial photogrammetrics services, and provides the necessary ground control surveying.
Our digital mapping services are prepared with our Zeiss Planicomp P3 analytical stereoplotter. Photogrammetric mapping has been the most efficient means of producing accurate representations of large, complex areas of land, and technology has radically changed how this process is carried out. We also provide services for vertical and oblique color or black and white aerial photography, analytic aerotriangulation, ortho photographs, photographic reproduction and retain a library of historical aerial negatives.
The digital photogrammetric data is accomplished by using Trimble G.P.S. Total Station surveying, and stereo aerial photographs to obtain planimetric and topographic data. With the Trimble G.P.S. Total Station, we can generate coordinate points within one centimeter tolerance. Stereo aerial photography is acquired with the most advanced aerial camera system, equipped with image-motion compensation, and distortion-free lenses.
Utilizing our Zeiss Planicomp P3 analytical stereoplotter, linked to a high-speed computer graphic workstation, and using state-of-the-art software we can provide accurate base maps and topographic maps.
